Synopsis Nico is a sound engineer who listens to and records conversations of soldiers from the past. But when he hears the voice of Andrés, a soldier who has survived several wars, he finds a new empathy in himself, so he decides to make himself heard by Andrés. Despite his attempts, Nico does not succeed, however, listening to of Andrés’s death, he experiences the inhuman and the real pain in wars.
Director’s bio-filmography Jeissy Trompiz (1986) holds a Filmmaking and Scriptwriting degree from Cuba’s EICTV. His short films have been screened in several festivals. His feature film Timeless Havana has been selected by FID Marseille 2019. The Sounds of Time, co-produced with AAMOD as part of the program Zavattini Prize, won the Fascination Prize in Ji.hlava 2022.
