We Came Here To Make God

A group of artisans travel from Bengal to the Capital New Delhi. They come to make clay sculptures of Gods. The film observes closely the everyday life of the artisans, who, in the process of refining the coarse Delhi mud, reminisce the days spent on a land set under a different sky. While an idol is taking shape, their inner lives face turmoil, as relationships back home get harder to sustain.
