The construction-machine factory Maquinaria Panamericana, in Mexico City, is the ideal workplace: pranks between coworkers, slow pace, free phone calls and a beloved boss, Don Alejandro. But when he is found dead, the dream turns into a nightmare, in a surreal and grotesque crescendo.
Joaquin del Paso – UNDER 35
Joaquin del Paso (1986) studied Film Directing and Scriptwriting at the International Film School in Cuba (EICTV) and at the Polish National Film School in Lodz. He lives in Mexico City, he is the co-founder of Amondo Films, a film collective based in Warsaw, Delhi and Mexico City. He works as well as a cinematographer for fiction and documentary films. Maquinaria Panamericana is his first feature lenght.
