Support WTFF7! Crowdfunding campaign kicks off

Crowdfunding WTFF7

Working Title Film Festival 7 is ready to go and we can’t wait to unveil the programme. But we also need the help of those who believe in this proudly independent project. That is why we are launching a crowdfunding campaign in which you can participate by donating with Paypal or credit card.

We have named the 4 participation formulas after as many great films that have portrayed the contemporary world of work.

Option 1: Sorry We Missed You

A 2019 Ken Loach film exposing exploitation (and self-exploitation) in the logistics industry.

How much you give: 10 euros

Reward: official poster of WTFF7

Option 2: Deux jours, une nuit

Is solidarity between workers still possible in the age of precariousness? This is the question at the heart of this 2014 film by the Dardenne brothers.

How much you give: 30 euro

Reward: official shopper of WTFF7

Option 3: La legge del mercato

Too young to retire, too old to easily re-enter the labour market: this is the story of the protagonist of this 2015 film directed by Stéphane Brizé.

How much you give: 50 euro

Reward: official t-shirt of WTFF7

Option 4: Bread and Roses

A historical slogan of the 20th century workers’ struggles gives the title to this 2000 film – still by Ken Loach – in which the issue of labour rights is intertwined with the rights of migrants.

How much you give: 100 euro

Reward: official poster, shopper and t-shirt of WTFF7

A series of short films was made to launch the crowdfunding campaign. The short films were made by the students of classes 5DLA and 5ELA, school year 2023/2024, of the audiovisual and multimedia address of the Liceo Artistico Boscardin in Vicenza. The activity took place as part of a PCTO project with the tutorship of teacher Marina Resta and the collaboration of teacher Alessia Zampieri, and graphics by Andrea Xausa.

We publish here a selection of the short films.
