Synopsis Boramey explores the phenomenon of spirit possession and mass fainting in Cambodian garment factories. Through the stories of three young women who had brushes with supernatural beings in the workplace, we get a glimpse of the life of Cambodian garment workers at the intersection of work, religion, family, and spirituality.
Directors’ bio-filmography Tommaso Facchin, a self-taught filmmaker and art director, has worked in China, making documentaries and video reportages. Ivan Franceschini is a postdoctoral fellow at the Australian National University. Together they directed the award winning documentary Dreamwork China (2011) and founded the Made in China Journal and The People’s Map of Global China.
