Using (web)found and sound footage, slapstick scenes, fiction, documentary, collage, performance and installation techniques, Manifesto is a dance with History, a farce about our own (mis)placed and spectral role in the digital world of permanent (re)collection.
Director’s bio-filmography
Arnaud Gerber (1971) is a French filmmaker who lives in Berlin. He works at the intersection of fiction, documentary and experimentation. His films, mostly shot in Super 8 or 16mm, have been screened at the most important international film festivals, such as Locarno, Florence, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Stockholm. He’s now working on a documentary project – The wind blows where it wants – and on two fiction projects, Renaissance and The Fear.
