Lower Saxony, Germany. A waking nightmare begins for Andrei, an Eastern European worker who is employed in a slaughterhouse, when his boss denies him the dormitory and he must build a shelter in the forest nearby. The hope for a better future for him and his family allows him to imagine a way out of the misery and fear of his daily life.
Director’s bio-filmography
Denis Pavlovic was born in 1987 in Stuttgart, where he has been working as a filmmaker, producer and artist since 2010, and as editorial assistant at broadcasting network SWR since 2016. He studied Film & Video at Merz Akademie in Stuttgart and at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He directed many short films and documentary films, among which Zwischen Gestern und Morgen and Letzte Tür Links.
